Afro-kira: Afrofuturistic Akira - The Bike (Congolese Chukudu)

I wanted to take the iconic bike from Akira but imagine it as something else. I never quite finished exploring this concept, but I was heavily inspired by these chukudu scooters that can be found in the Congo! They are so unique looking that I wanted to let them control the overall aesthetic but then also power them somehow so they could be fast and automatic. I will definitely come back to this idea and flesh it out more. But until then, I will leave it here hoping it inspires some of you!
